World Book Day
A firm favourite with everyone in our school this year we decided to dress up as anything we wanted. Look at our children and their fantastic costumes on the day. We shared stories with one another in the hall and hunted down the missing characters hidden in our classrooms. Key Stage 2 children visited the Key Stage 1 children to share their favourite stories with them. The younger children then read some of their stories. All children enjoyed reading to one another and asked if they could do it more often. This year we also combined READ ALOUD MARCH with World Book Day. Parents came into school and spent part of the morning sharing stories in the different classes. The children were so proud to read to them. Thank you parents for your wonderful support!
