We made a shadow puppet theatre and took on the roles of Sir Isaac Newton and Robert Hooke.

We investigated Sir Isaac Newton’s theory of colour and refraction and made our own colour wheels. When we spun them all the colours merged into one.
Year 6 have been exploring Judaism. We have been learning about Rosh Hashanah and how food is very important during this time. We tried slices of apple dipped in honey – they were delicious.
Two Year 6 girls decided to make a to scale timeline of British history after creating one in class.
The children had a taster of Victorian school life, made truffles, learned a Christmas Carol and dance and performed these for Lord Sefton’s Christmas party. They also learned about what life was like to work in Croxteth Hall during the Victorian era.
Year 6 have started their award at Knowsley Outdoor Education Centre.
