2027/2028 Admissions Policy Consultation
As the admission authority for St Aidan’s Catholic Primary School, the Governing Body wish to consult with you on our admission arrangements for 2027/2028.
Consultation must last for a minimum of 6 weeks and must take place between 1 October and 31 January in the determination year. The consultation period for this policy is from 6th October 2025 to 16th November 2025.

Admissions to the school will be determined by the Governing Body. Parents must complete a Local Authority Preference Form or apply online via the website https://www.knowsley.gov.uk/education-and-schools/school-admissions.

You can make an objection to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator (OSA) if you think that the admissions arrangements of a maintained school or an academy do not comply with the ‘School Admissions Code’ (the Code) or other legislation relating to school admissions. Secondary Admissions
If your child is currently in Year 6 at primary school, and typically has a date of birth that falls on or between 1st September 2013 to 31st August 2014, you must apply for a secondary place by 31st October 2024.
