Remembrance Day in Nursery
Today is a special day.
We learnt all about Remembrance Day.
We watched a video about a little girl who wanted to know why people wear poppies.
At 11am everything went very quiet in our school. We thought about the brave soldiers who went to war to keep us safe.
We watched a beautiful animation on CBeebies I player called ‘Poppies’.
We made fantastic poppies using the red dough and coloured poppy pictures in.
I would just like to say how proud we are of all of the Nursery children being so respectful during our remembrance silence.
