In support of the NSPCC, we enjoyed celebrating Number Day at St. Aidan’s. We started the day with an exciting assembly, followed by some thrilling maths activities in class and a Maths scavenger hunt. Thanks to your support and contributions we raised £131. Here are some of our exciting pictures….
The Mini Vinnies visited the residents of Hurst Park Residential Home today. They sang some beautiful Christmas carols and chatted to the residents. Everyone enjoyed the visit and the residents gifted the children some sweets for Christmas too.
Year 1 completed their final piece of fairytale artwork today using a printing technique for the background and they then traced their character to stick on top.
St. Aidan’s Maths Ambassadors have decided to run a Christmas Maths competition for all children from Year 1- Year 6. Completed worksheets need to be returned to your teacher by Friday the 15th of December 2023. Please encourage your child to take part as the winner will receive a prize. Good luck!!
