results-2016We work very hard with our pupils to ensure that they achieve their very best and make excellent progress.
At the End of Key Stage 2 (Year 6) children are performing really well. They are achieving good level 4 scores and increasing numbers are achieving Level 5 and in 2014 and 2015 some pupils achieved Level 6
Children make great progress at St Aidan’s. All children made the required 2 levels of progress from Y2- Y6 in 2014 and 16/17 pupils made 2 levels in 2015. However a good number made additional progress (3 levels).
We support pupils from Nursery right through to Year 6 with Interventions and additional activities both during the school day and after school.
In 2014 pupils in Key Stage 1 (Y2) achieved well and all achieved a Level 2. We know that we stiil need to work hard with our pupils to ensure they achieve well by the end of Year 2 and have put plans in place to ensure this happens. In 2015 although the numbers achieving level 2 dipped it was a great achievement for the cohort to maintain the good standard we had set in 2014.
