Ofsted visited in September 2016. We are delighted to report that they agreed with us and believe St Aidan’s to be a GOOD school.
One of the key features of the report is the ‘family feel’ to the school. Children, staff and parents all value the school, feel safe and cared for. Our School Values shine through in all we do, in class where children work well together, on the yard were children play together, young and old in harmony, in discussion where staff, children and parents clearly demonstrated how much they believe the school to be a good, safe and successful place to learn and develop.
Teaching is good and children are enthusiastic learners. Staff have good subject knowledge and assess pupils accurately so that they achieve well.
Overall we are pleased with the outcome. Now onto OUTSTANDING!!!

Please also go on the Parent View page on the Ofsted Website and tell everyone how hard we work.
Ofsted produce a Data Dashboard. This gives information to parents about the school and how it is performing in a number of areas. Please see the link to our Data Dashboard below and see how well we are performing. All areas of improvement have been identified and are in our school action plan.
