School Day

School Times

In order top  help parents and to keep our pupils safe, children finish at slightly different times. This allows parents to collect children in different classes. Staff will not release children until they see a familiar adult or unlless they have been informed by a parent that the child is allowed to walk home.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club is available from 8am for ALL pupils

Cost is £1.50

Pupils receive Breakfast (toast, cereal, yoghurt, fruit) and can complete a range of activities


Morning Session – 8.45 am – 11.45 am

Afternoon Session – 12.30 – 3.30pm

We also offer 2.5 day sessions with the opportunity to stay for lunch at a cost of £1.30 (or bring own packed lunch if completing a full day). Occasionally additional sessions can be paid for. Please ask for details if interested.


8.45 am -3.30 pm

Lunch 12.00 – 12.45pm

Pupils experience continuous provision and have access to the Foundation Stage Play area throughoutthe day

Pupils receive a snack during the day in the snack area (cost £1 per week payable to Reception teacher).


Year 1 and Year 2

8.45 am-3.30pm

Break 11.00 – 11.20 am

Lunch 12.00 – 12.45 pm

Year 1 and 2 pupils wait on the yard and line up when staff appear. Pupils will be released through the Hall doors (the same ones they use in the morning)

Year 1  and Year 2 pupils go straight to lunch at 12.00 pm, eat their lunch and then return to the yard after lunch

There is no afternoon break for pupils.


Years 3-6

8.45 am – 3.30 pm

Break 11.00 – 11.20 am

Lunch 12.30 – 1.15 pm (Year 3 and 4 go straight to lunch at 12.30 pm, Year 5 and 6 go to the yard to play and then to lunch)

Pupils in KS2 do not line up on the yard they come into school and go to their classroom. If you need to speak to the classteacher just ask at the School Office before 9am


After School

There are a range of after school activities run by school staff (and at times by outside agencies) – see club timetable

All children are encouraged to attend a school club and to show commitment to the club for at least half a term
