School Day

School Times

School opens at 8:40am and children are dismissed at 3:15pm.

This gives 6 hours 35 minutes of access to school a day, totalling 32 hours and 55 minutes each week.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club is available from 8am for ALL pupils.
Cost is £1.50
Pupils receive Breakfast (bagel, cereal, fruit) and can complete a range of activities

Ingredient & Allergen information

Nursery

Morning Session – 8.45 am – 11.45 am
Afternoon Session – 12.30 – 3.30pm

We also offer 30 hours childcare provision for qualifying parents/carers (with the opportunity to stay for lunch, children must bring their own packed lunch if completing a full day).

Reception

8.40 am – 3.15 pm (children come into school from 8.40am by the Reception/Year 1 door)

Lunch 12.00 – 12.45pm

Pupils experience continuous provision and have access to the Foundation Stage Play area throughout the day

Pupils receive a snack during the day in the snack area (cost £5 per half term payable to Reception teacher).

Year 1 and Year 2

8.40 am – 3.15pm (Year 1 children enter at 8.40 am by the Reception/Year 1 door and Year 2 through the Hall door)

Break 10.15 – 10.30 am

Lunch 12.00 – 12.45 pm Year 1

Lunch 12.15 – 1.00 pm Year 2

Optional afternoon Break – 2.00 pm for Year 1 and Year 2

At the end of the school day, pupils in Year 1 will leave through the Year 1/Reception door and Year 2 will leave through the Hall doors.

Years 3-6

Year 3 – 8.40 – 3.15 pm  –  entrance/exit through the Reception/Year 1 door

Year 4 – 8.40 – 3.15 pm – entrance/exit through the Hall

Year 5 – 8.40 – 3.15 pm – entrance/exit through the Hall

Year 6 – 8.40 – 3.15 pm – enter and exit through Reception/Year1 door

Break 10.15 am – 10.30 am

Lunch

Year 3 – 12.15 – 1.00pm
Year 4 – 12.15 – 1.00pm
Year 5 – 12.30 – 1.15pm
Year 6 – 12.30 – 1.15pm

Staff will not release children until they see a familiar adult or unless they have been informed by a parent that the child is allowed to walk home.

If you need to speak to the class teacher ring the school office to make an appointment or wait for all pupil’s to be collected at the end of the day.

There are a range of after school activities run by school staff (and at times by outside agencies) – see club timetable each half term.

All children are encouraged to attend a school club and to show commitment to the club for at least half a term.
