Last half term children made their own toy cars. Children had to make the chassis, and create axles for the wheels. You can tell they are pleased with the final outcome!
Year 1 had a revision lesson on the iPads today during Maths. We went on top marks and applied what we’ve learnt when adding and subtracting.
Year 1 have been learning about how babies are welcomed into the church. We watched a priest perform a baptism and we role played this sacrament for ourselves.
They had to find the best material for Ted’s umbrella and we concluded that the plastic bag material was best.
Year 1 had their collective worship outside our Sacred Heart display this morning. The children learnt about what each part represents and listened to John 19:34. We reflected on the sacrifice Jesus made for us.
